About Us

Who are we

Future Pathways Consultants (FPC) is a registered public beneficiary organisation (PBO) at the forefront of tackling youth unemployment in South Africa through transformative and socially just career development. We believe in breaking down systemic barriers and ensuring all school learners, regardless of background, can access meaningful career guidance and support.

Our work extends beyond urban centres into under-resourced areas, including our Career Guidance in Rural Areas project in the Free State, where we equip learners with critical tools for post-school planning. We are also pioneering AI-assisted storytelling and career exploration for primary school learners in Gauteng and the Western Cape, using technology to plant early seeds of career identity. Our RIASEC Board Game, in partnership with Career Kit, developed locally, brings career exploration to life through gamification, helping learners understand their interests and connect them to real-world career paths.

Our flagship Career Pathfinder Programme (CPP) empower youth with the knowledge, confidence, and self-awareness to make informed decisions, overcome inequality, and pursue fulfilling futures. Rooted in the values of equity and social justice, our mission is not only to inform, but to transform.

Our Vision

To be a pioneering force in career development and educational innovation across South Africa, ensuring every young person, regardless of background, can envision and realise a future filled with purpose and possibility.
